Order Terms and Procedures 

​Submitting this inquiry does not reserve your event date or constitute an order. Availability will be confirmed after your inquiry is reviewed. Your date is reserved only after your order is accepted, the required agreement is completed, and the applicable retainer/payment has been received.

• Standard pickup and delivery availability is Tuesday- Saturday.  We do not ordinarily schedule orders for Sunday or Monday. Orders requested outside our standard availability are subject to approval.

• We recommend submitting custom-order inquiries as early as possible. A minimum of two weeks' notice is generally required for custom orders; however, availability is not guaranteed. Orders requested with less than two weeks' notice, if accepted, may be subject to a rush fee. ​

• A 50% non-refundable, non-transferrable retainer is required to reserve your event date and begin your order. Your date is not reserved until the required agreement has been completed and the retainer has been received. Until both requirements are satisfied, your requested date remains available to other clients.

• The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date. Orders with an unpaid balance after the payment deadline are subject to cancellation and forfeiture of the retainer. Production will not proceed on orders with an outstanding balance. ​

​

• Orders accepted within 14 days of the event date require payment in full at the time of booking. Rush fees may also apply. Payment for orders accepted within this time frame is nonrefundable and non-transferrable.

• Quoted pricing is based on the design, serving size, products services, delivery, setup, and other details requested at the time of the quote. Client-requested revisions or additions may result in additional charges and are subject to availability and approval.

Client Pickup & Transportation: Once orders are picked up by the client or the client's designated representative and accepted in satisfactory condition, responsibility for the safe handling, transportation, storage, and condition of the order transfers to the client.  Sweetest Suite is not responsible for damage after pickup due to improper handling, transportation, temperature, vehicle conditions, storage, or other circumstances, outside our control. Cakes and temperature sensitive desserts should be transported in a clean, cool, air-conditioned vehicle on a flat, stable, surface and should never be placed on a seat, lap or, uneven surface.

Delivery: When deliver is purchased, Sweetest Suite remains responsible for the order during transportation until delivery is completed and the order is accepted by the client, designated recipient, or venue representative. After acceptance, responsibility for the handling, storage, display conditions, and condition of the order transfers to the client. Delivery and setup are separate services and must be included in the order when applicable.

Unsuccessful Delivery: The client is responsible for ensuring that an authorized person is available to receive the order and that Sweetest Suite has timely access to the delivery location. If delivery cannot be completed because no authorized recipient is available, access to the venue is unavailable, or circumstances at the location prevent delivery, we will return the order to our pickup location. Delivery fees are nonrefundable, and any subsequent delivery attempt, if available, will require an additional delivery fee. The client remails responsible for arranging timely pickup or redelivery of the order.  

 

Pick Up: Orders must be picked up at the confirmed pickup location during the scheduled pickup window. Please arrive on time, as pick up times are coordinated around other orders, deliveries, and business commitments. If you anticipate being late, please contact Sweetest Suite as soon as possible. Significant delays may be subject to a late-pickup fee and may require the pickup to be rescheduled based on availability. Sweetest Suite cannot guarantee refrigerated or secure storage for orders that are not picked up as scheduled. Orders remaining unclaimed for more than 24 hours after the scheduled pickup time may be discarded or donated, when appropriate, and payments made will not be refunded. 

 Pickup is available in the Camp Springs, Maryland area. The exact pickup address and instructions are provided to confirmed clients.  ​

Order Concern:

We want every client to have an exceptional Sweetest Suite experience. If you believe there is an issue with your order, please notify us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery and provide photographs documenting the concern. When reasonably possible, the affected product should be retained and made available to Sweetest Suite for evaluation. Because our products are custom-made, concerns will be reviewed individually. Notification of a concern does not automatically entitle the client to a refund, replacement, or other remedy.
